Instructions for Using the Search Form
This search form allows you to filter data based on various criteria. Each field has its own filter options,
and the logic applied for filtering works as follows:
- Individual Field Logic (OR):
- When selecting multiple options within a single field, the form uses OR logic.
This means that any record that matches any of the selected options within that field will be included in the results.
- For example, if you select multiple projects in the "Project" field, the search will return results that match any of the selected projects.
- Combined Fields Logic (AND):

When using multiple fields to filter data, the form uses AND logic between fields. This means that a record must meet the
criteria of all selected fields to be included in the results.
- For example, if you select specific options in both the "Project" and "Sample Type" fields, the search will return results that
match any of the selected projects AND any of the selected sample types.
Example Usage:
- Searching Within a Single Field:
- If you choose "Project A" and "Project B" in the "Project" field, the search will return records that
belong to either Project A OR Project B.
- Searching Across Multiple Fields:
- If you choose "Project A" in the "Project" field and "Type 1" and "Type 2" in the "Sample Type" field, the search will
return records that belong to Project A AND are either of Sample Type 1 OR Sample Type 2.
